Dear Parents and Students:
At (school name), we are excited about our new fundraiser called
Cash-4-Kids. This is one of the easiest fundraisers we have ever
offered to our community. You will be happy to know that it will not
cost you, your neighbors, or your co-workers anything to
participate. There is no door-to-door selling. It only requires your
participation.
Cash-4-Kids provides our community the opportunity to save their
empty inkjet and toner cartridges in exchange for cash. We will use
the funds raised to purchase materials for updating our computer
technology here at (school name). Our goal this year is $8,000. That
means 5,000 cartridges will be recycled instead of being thrown in
our landfills.
Your place of employment could be a great source of collecting
cartridges and can participate by sponsoring (school name). (Please
ask for a sponsor form.) Normally, community businesses use these
cartridges in printers, fax machines, and desktop copiers, and can
help by pledging their cartridges to our school. Once again, it
doesn't cost them anything; they are recycling, and helping our
children raise money for needed supplies. What a great way to
contribute!
